Add a Product

Offer products to complement your services. Add products to events or when invoicing.

Go to Services and click on Services.

Click on Add a product.

Select image. Select a category. Choose a name for product. Choose a price. Make a description of product. Choose if product is an add-on. Type product SKU (Stock Keeping Unit.) Type product Barcode if you have generated your own item numbers and barcodes. You can scan barcodes directly into an Invoice to speed up checkout.

Type UPC (UPC-A, UPC-E or variable pricing UPC.) Type Manufacturer/Brand of product.

You can make offer variations of products using 3 types of options. For example option 1 can be Size, option 2 can be Color. You can add Variations of this product with different sizes and colors and track the inventory of each one. Type inventory supplier, cost, and quantity in stock. Check Shopping Cart box to not let product inventory level go below zero.

Set special special rate for additional items.

Choose if item is allowed to be added to cart. Choose to allow tipping. Choose tax. If adding a tax, choose tax name and enter tax rate.

If you choose to enable payroll choose between:

Percent of total amount (special pricing rules if applicable, apply fees and discounts.)

or

Fixed rate (default price, do not include special fees and discounts and number of pets.)

or

Percent of price (default price, do not include special fees and discounts, ignore number of pets.)

Add a staff rule if you want to pay certain amount to different staff members.

You can automate the price of this product based on who is buying it. A client or pet may have Smart Fields like Size, you can automate the price of this product per smart field value. Choose one of the Dropdown or Multiselect fields from the clients or pet profile and set the price.

Choose who can see the product. Either You and your staff or Clients, or both.
