Stay in control of your schedule. Automated cancelation rules reduce risk and financial burden of last minute changes. Automate how far in advance clients can cancel and whether there is a penalty. You can also specify which services a rule applies to as well as days of week or date-range.
Click on Schedule > Cancellations.
To be able to Cancel an booking, there must be a rule for the booked service.

Click on Add Rule button to create a Cancellation rule.

Fill in Name field and set when this rule applies.

You can have a rule that always applies, for example it starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday.

In addition to your base Cancellation rule you can enforce special date based rules, for example, you can add a rule for December that has a higher penalty for last minute cancellations.

Next, select the services this rule applies to. You can have 1 Cancellation rule for all services, or you can add separate rules for Overnights versus Grooming type of appointments.
Here are a few examples of Cancelation conditions you can use:
Example 1: prevent cancelations from 3pm the day before the appointment.
Example 2: allow same-day cancelations, enforce a 50% penalty.
Example 3: charge 100% for a cancelation 2 hours or less before the appointment.
You can combine several cancellation conditions.
Click on Add button to save the rule.

When a client looks at an appointment, the system will determine whether a Cancel button should be shown depending on Cancellation rule for that day and that service as well as how much time is left before the appointment.
